FACTON Server Manager

By default, the FACTON Server is installed on a PC as a service, and automatically starts after the installation. The FACTON Server utility (on local system or network) can be started and stopped just like any other utility in Windows.

Note

FACTON Server is not used in instances where FACTON is operated as a standalone version.

Note

The server utility will not start when errors occur while launching it. The errors are recorded in the Windows events log.

Start and stop the server utility

  1. Open the "FACTON Server Manager" dialog.
  2. Click the Change server button to choose a server.

    1. Start the service manually

      • Click the Start button.

    2. Stop the service

      • Click the Stop button.

    3. Restart the service

      • Click the Restart button.
  3. Click Close.
